*If you have more than one button design and more than one metallic color all button designs will be made in all colors. This means design 1 will be in red, blue and silver, and design 2 will be in red, blue and silver, etc. If you would like a different arrangement please email us to discuss your options.

File Setup Instructions:

All buttons are black plus one metallic color. This isn't an arbitrary rule, it's just the nature of working with metallics.

Button files need to be AT LEAST 200dpi to print well. 300dpi is better. The higher the dpi the nicer your buttons will look.

Button files need to be 1.313 inches square (263 pixels at 200dpi, 394 pixels at 300dpi). This allows for the paper to wrap around to the back. Make sure that what absolutely needs to be on the front of the button is in the central .875 inches (175 pixels at 200dpi, 263 at 300dpi). This will ensure that the important part of your image doesn't slide around to the back of the button.

If the file you are submitting is meant to be only the image on the FRONT of your button with no margin please tell us, so that we can adjust your design to print properly.

You can always make your file larger than the numbers above (basically as large as you want) and we can adjust it to fit, but anything smaller will look pixelated. If you have any concerns let us know what they are when you email in your images.

Your file needs to be in black and white. Make sure that the black parts of your image are what you want to be black, and that the white parts are what you want to be the metallic color of your choice.

Because of how these metallics work bolder designs tend to print a little nicer than more detailed images. This is really only important on the darkest colors. 1pt lines are very clear, .5pt lines are clear, but anything smaller than .25pt is a little risky. If we're concerned about a file you submit we'll let you know.

We prefer that you submit your button design as a .jpg. We can read most file types, but .jpg is the least likey to give us trouble.

It's a good idea to print out your design at the right size before ordering your buttons. Sometimes things look great on screen but don't look as nice printed - this is especially important if you're the least bit worried about your text being legible.
